Bo Cooper rode his first motorcycle
at age two. He began racing in 1998 on the weekend
of his 4th Birthday. In his first full season of racing in 1999 he finished
in the top 10 of the District 15 Points Series. The goals for the 2000
racing season were met by finishing 2nd in Dist. 15 Points and 3rd
in the Indiana State Championship. He won over 50 races and was introduced
to Arenacross.
The 2001 season has been year of triumphs for the now 7 year old racer.
In February Bo competed at a National Arenacross competition and won. He
began this season with a long series of undefeated races including 3
qualifiers for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Nationals, which he attended and
earned his National 19n number plate. He has won the Indiana State
Championship and District 15 Points Championship for the Auto 4-6 50cc
class.
2002 Season started off great, but while winning a Loretta Lynn's
qualifier, Bo crashed and broke his leg; keeping him from racing most of the
2002 season.
2003- Bo is completely healed and ready to rock! He rides a 2003
King Cobra and Kx65. He will be attending Motocross Camp in July, and
is currently running the Loretta Lynn Qualifier Series.
2004 season qualified for 3 regionals , attended mx camp finished
3rd in Indiana State Championship 65 7-11 class.
Bo attends motocross schools when able and gives his best to racing. Bo
excels in the classroom, football, baseball, and
basketball. He enjoys riding and "ramping" his bike, riding go-karts and his
pit bikes.
When asked by a newspaper reporter who was doing an article on him last
summer, What do you want to be when you grow up? Bo was quick to reply "A
Champion". To Bo a champion is someone who always gives their best, no
matter what they are doing. A champion in school, a champion with friends, a
champion in sports, a champion in life.
Success starts with a team. The CooperRacing team finds, Bo, Dad, Mom,
Grandpa, and brothers Trevor #22 and Jeffrey working side by side to accomplish
all their goals as a racing team and a family.
